So Niamh flipped out about the shade of pink for her Christmas sweater…so until she recovers her sanity, her sweater is on hiatus, and I’m starting Taidhg’s sweater.

I’m combining a couple of patterns to create this since Taidhg wanted a dragon on the front, and the only chart I could find of a dragon was attached to a French pattern. Since I don’t read French, I just took the colorwork chart from that pattern. The rest of the sweater is Alex Capshaw-Taylor’s East Fork. I finished the tubular cast on for the front tonight.

About to start the intarsia section of this sweater.

My gauge has turned out to be a bit off. So I’m going to need to do some sweater surgery and add about 2.5” of stockinette below the dragon motif in order to center the motif on the front of the sweater. I’m now going to start the armhole shaping.
