Another plush for another gift.

Easiest explanation?

Ying-yang panda with a star trek hobby.

Intention:
Knit the panda, construct the panda, knit a star trek uniform (from the sports referee outfit), give to friend in August.

Actual:
Knit the arms and legs in the wrong color, twice in a row.
Finally have all the limbs constructed, had to tweak pattern to accomplish the color change halfway through the torso and head (crazy stuff, but sorta fun).
Knit the torso color backwards, so all my actual attachments will be a bit counter to the pattern instructions.

I went ahead and got doll eyes, attached prior to finishing the head, then stuffed.

Outfit:
I took the football jersey pattern and created my own chart for the Star Trek uniform classic |./| symbol, creating two separate styles for the front and back.
The pants I kept entirely black, as well as the shoes. Laces are temporarily white, until I make the pattern laces.

To be finished:
—make black laces for the shoes
—decide how to make the ears more ‘bear-like’
—do a thorough run over with a lint roller to gather all fuzz and polyfill covering the plush
