This pattern came from a very old pattern book my mom gave me called Jack Frost. It cost 35 cents and the photos are all black and white. It had to be from the 50’s, so the copyright is expired.

It’s a simple pattern with a pretty detail. It’s a garter stitch edge and then a six-row pattern
CO 140
Knit 5 rows and start pattern
Row 1, 3, 5, 6,-knit
Row 2, 4-knit 6, P3, K2 repeat until last 4 stitches(knit those)
Finish on Row 6
Knit 5 more rows for border
Cast off
