Well this was an adventure. I’ve never done half these techniques before so I did a lot of nervous fretting (especially the wraps, which I think I messed up a bit) but it came out looking awesome. It was a bit small off the needles (the yarn is a little closer to aran than bulky), but I blocked the everloving crap out of it and eventually got it to a good size.

I blocked the finished hat before attaching the floppy bits, since it needed so much stretching. Lightly steam blocking the floppy bits before sewing them on made them easier to work with. Next time, I’ll probably go up a needle size with this yarn.
