a birthday gift for my midwife and friend, jenna. these were the first socks that i have ever knit, and i found them simple and enjoyable.

i made them a bit shorter than the pattern called for (only 1 chart pattern before the heel) & i worked a short-row heel instead of the flap-type heel in the pattern, just because of personal and aesthetic preference.
