I just have 46g (about 200 yards) of Zauberball, so I’ll try to knit them toe-up, to use every little yard, with afterthrough toe. With my scale next to me, here I go!!!

foot: provisional cast on 28sts (crochet chain 56 (for all sock perimeter), insert left hand needle on 28 back loops)
knit 1 row
purl 1 row
knit “Sock #1 pattern for 1st section” for 13cm
heel “provisional space”: (WS row) sl1, purl 26 sts with waste yarn for afterthough heel (1st left on RHNeedle), slip the 27 sts to RHNeedle, we are again on the beginning of a WS row
40g yarn left
continue with pattern on leg (start on WS row)
note: after this 1st row I passed a life line on both rows of heel, to an easy pick up 26+26 live sts
continue leg spiral, finish until 11g yarn used

35g yarn left 2nd piece
foot: provisional cast on 28sts
knit 1 row
purl 1 row
knit “Sock #2 pattern for 1st section” for 13cm
