I used the knitted cast-on to cast on 50 stitches.

I used the size 13 needles to bind off the six stitches for the button band, then switched to size 15 to finish the row.

I found two earrings that weren’t being used that seemed to be just the right color and style. I popped them off their hooks and sewed on as artfully as I could. Just the right touch of style? I hope so…!!
