Very warm! Curling a bit at the bottom, so it will need to be steam blocked before it’s donated to HFS. (And steam blocking did the trick!)

I personally prefer the slouchy version of this hat crocheted in fingering weight with a ribbed hatband, but my husband prefers a closer fitting heavier beanie without any ribbing, so this one is done for his taste.

I also reversed the light and dark colors on this one vs. my slouchy hat. I think I prefer the darker color as outline with the lighter as the hatch, as on the slouchy hat, but maybe it’s just that this gold with the green has less contrast and is therefore less effective?
