I started with the base of the body with a magic circle of 6, then added and subtracted here and there til the shape matched the pic. Almost like sculpting. When I got to the neck I thought I’d do the head separately and sew it on, but I just kept going with DCs and increases in the back to turn the corner and that worked out fine. Appendages added and sewn on. The eyes are beads from Hobby Lobby. The eyes, toes, tail bumps and antenna tips are bobbles, twos or threes depending.

Fun to do, took off-and-on 3 days or so. (My eyes fell out here and there or it would have been faster.)
