I’m knitting now and then, have enough time and don’t want to get sick and tired of it. Today I counted and at some point I had 110 sts on the needles.

The camel yarn is extremely fragile. I’m glad I am reinforcing throughout with a strand of seraflock (it’s a med/light grey shade which cools the shades a bit).

Was considering several yarns and even maybe using more than two, but went with the, probably more elegant, two color version.

I’m probably knitting up to 156 or 176 sts because I don’t want to run out of yarn.

Today I finished the shawl. Instead of the last row of chart 3, I went for a stretchy bind off on the WS.

I then washed it and decided to overdye it a little. Fabienne doesn’t wear white and this “natural” shade is nearly white to me. I used yellow and red sewo dye in very small quantities to achieve a tea dye type cream shade. The gray thread throughout (which I managed to never break so it is continuous beginning to end - and that was a pain particularly when switching colours) mutes the overall effect a little.
