I’m so happy with this, it’s the best thing I’ve ever made, and I’m hardly pleased with the things I make, I always find mistakes lol but this one is as close to perfection that I could ever achieve. I even made a suede drawstring pouch for it, so the horns don’t get dirty :)

I made this with a single strand for the head part, I’ll see for the rest.
Since this is for a big headed friend, I’m making one more inc line when it says 78 sts, so mine has 83 sts.
I worked 4 more rows in the neck guard, for a total of 10 rows.
For the details I worked with a 4.5 mm hook.
I think the nose guard should be wider at the bottom so I chained 10 instead of 4 and worked 9 sc instead of 3.
·Worked 9 sc for 4 rows and then dec at beg and end of the 5th row = 7 sc.
·I worked 2 more rows with 7 sc and dec again at beg and end and worked 5 sc until it was time to work a ^, so working on the front loop I: ch 1, 1 half double crochet, 1 triple crochet, 1 hdc, 1 sc, turn, and then working on the remaning loop of the previous row, I worked 5 sc, and keep doing that until the length was enough to cover the head.
Horizontal Band
7 sc wide and bobble st with a 3 mm hook.
Cheek Guard
with 4.5 mm hook
5 sc
2 more rounds of dec and sc.
only 2 inc and sc rows, then sc all over and inc in the last st and a 2 rows of sc.
Horns
With 4.5 mm hook, back post sc every other whole sc row.
