I love open-front cardigans, and I tend to wear them a lot more than buttoned cardigans (although I love those too!). I think they’re easier to just throw on and take off if necessary.

I didn’t alternate skeins (shh…), as I didn’t feel it was necessary. The yarn is softer after wet blocking, and I love the slight fuzz from the mohair.

The only modification is that I worked the fronts to 12” before joining the sleeves. My height is 5’7”, for reference. My bust measurement is about 34-35” - I usually go for a little less positive ease with open-front cardigans.

The collar finishing is a little fiddly, but very elegant and feminine.
