6/12 - I thought for sure it was too short for me (cuz I like loooooooong scarves) but it blocked out to 82 inches. Surely that is long enough? I might just be crazy in thinking it’s not but I can not knit on this anymore without wanting to off myself. Modulation knitting is not for me, I guess. This was SERIOUSLY boring me to death after the first row was complete. I alternated between 3 skeins for most of the scarf until I used those up and then alternated from the last 2 skeins (though I alternated from the inside pull/outside end from each ball so that is really like alternating from 4 balls) to keep the color changes fresh.

2/12 - Ugh, I can’t work with large size needles for anything. Switched from the pattern suggested 6’s to 3’s and it seems to be working out okay. A little smaller, of course, but that’s fine by me because it’s just a scarf and I don’t like ‘em too wide anyway.

October 2009 - Purchased yarn/pattern from Stitches East show. Sample shawl was to die for and I had to have it. :)
