5-18-18 - finally cool enough to wear jeans and a partly wool sweater!

5-9-18 - yeah… the fingers crossed sort of worked - finished bust was about 35” - perfect - but length stayed the same. I decided it needed to be shorter, measured my blocked row gauge, and ripped back 20 rows of the body. After reknitting, the body now measures about 17” total (matching the schematic) … but it’s a little wet still.

5-6-18 - finished and now it’s soaking. The only changes I made to the pattern were to use Sunday Short Rows and to bind off with a size 7. (fingers crossed the finished measurements work … pre-soak, it’s about 37” at the bust and 17-1/2” long before the hem shaping)

4-24-18 - cruising along! just finished the 3rd set of slip stitch rounds.

4-18-18 - swatched on 4’s and was dead-on gauge … until I blocked it! so glad I did since I was tempted to just cast on with 4’s. now I’ll use 6’s. (also - as nice as the yarn was pre-blocking, whoa, LOVE it after a soak!)
