Will be knitting flat and double stitch the chart on afterwards. Placing a stitch marker on the most bottom right stitch of the chart as it is shown in the pattern to indicate where to start.

For this project I’m choosing the paw prints meaning the first stitch marker goes on stitch 8 on row 5, and the second stitch marker goes on stitch 10 on row 17.

Since gauge is slightly smaller than pattern (19sts instead of 18sts per 10cm) I might make the donut longer and the platform too. Other people have done this by repeating the paw print chart to 32 times instead of 26, and knitting the platform sections up to 32 stitches a section instead of 26. I might do the same depending on how big the donut ends up being.
