I miss the gentle breeze of the Bahamas. We were unable to get there this past winter, and now that I am home in Upstate New York I have had some time to reflect on my trip from last year. This poncho is my own creation and helped me immensely to focus on the wonderful friends that I made, places that I visited and sailing adventures my husband and I had while fulfilling our life-long dream of traveling to the Bahamas in our sailboat.

This yarn, which I found in a large package as a mill-end at AC Moore had no label or content information. It is lighter in weight, and if I had to guess I would say it would be labeled as a 3 in weight.
