Oh, how I LOVE this dress! Paired with a little onesie I purchased at the Gap outlet in Lake George. It has a Peter Pan collar, and looks absolutely adorable with this dress!

It didn’t take me as long to make the dress as indicated. It really took less than a day to make, but as I had made it up to the point where I needed to add buttons and then it sat for several days. This morning I finally finished all of the little things like weaving in a few ends and sewing on the perfect buttons.

I made the straps quite a bit longer so that I could criss-cross them in the back. I think this will give Meredith two summers with the dress. As she grows, the straps can be uncrossed to add some length.
