My friend loves it! She’s off to Jackson Hole for the Labor Day Weekend and the wrap is already packed in her bag.

07/27/2011
Blocked--and finally dry! It looks just wonderful now that it’s finished. The cables are nice and chunky and defined, and the ktbl and ptbl stitches in the columns between the cables are really sharp-looking. The angularity of the columns really sets off the roundness of the cables.

07/23/2011:
This wrap knit up in a flash and it’s wonderful! I doubled the yarn and the result is truly soft and luxurious. It’s a gift and I’ll be including a beautiful shawl pin with it.

MODS
--The cables are 4/4 LC and crossed every 11 rows. The original pattern has 3/3 LC every 5 rows, but my friend loves big cables.

--Added a selvedge stitch at each edge.
