Notes

Pattern in little violet Passap booklet, page 8, first on top, fully automatic. 66 stitches front and same on back bed. Ss 5. 760 rows.
Beautiful pattern but right edge stitch often dropped. Right side a bit looser than left. Finished crocheting along the edges.
The yarn is very soft, the pattern produced a squishy, wide- ribbed fabric.
Scarf is 20 cm wide and 160 cm long. I needed 160 grams of wool.
End stitches should be a group, not a single stitch, I guess.

As one of the edges turned out to be ugly (second picture), I made an attempt with manipulated pushers when I knitted the wristwarmers. For the wristwarmer with the red wasteyarn I used four manipulated pushers plus their correspondent „stabilizers“ one for the right and one for the left edge needle on each bed. So the edge stitches were knitted in each row and never tucked. This resulted in too wavy edges.
For the wristwarmer with the blue wasteyarn I used only two manipulated pushers plus their correspondent „stabilizers“ one for the right and one for the left edge needle on the back bed only. So, only on the back bed the edge stitches were knitted in each row and never tucked. Those on the front bed knitted and tucked alternatively following the pattern.
This resulted in nice smooth edges.
