Notes

More socks knitted toe-up in circular mosaic, using mosaic punchcards with various designs.
Normal 4 ply sockwool
Started 16:16 toe-up as described in my other toe-up socks = 4 cast on RC plus 40 RC, SS 5.5#
Turn RC to zero
Knitt 168 RZ with normal mosaic punchcard (e.g. Decocard 19)
CX / HX two arrows pressed, SS 5 / 6
(for an inverted Mosaic Punchcard CX / HX)
Deco on 4, colour change every 4 rows
Then work heel as usual, but on the back bed, for this you turn front lock to GX, turn Deco to 0, remove the Selector by pushing it to the far left, leave everything else (card, cardreader, pushers of fb) as they are.
On bb turn to SS 5,5, lock to BX, put a pusher in work under each needle. After 40 RC heel is finished. Turn RC to zero.
Now CX / HX two arrows (or only HX) SS 5 / 6, push selector from left to right and fix it to the lock again, Deco again on 4, and color change again RC 4.
Start with the right (alternated) color so the pattern is not inversed.
After 96 RC I stopped knitting the mosaic pattern. Now you can finish the sock as you like. I normally knit about 25 RC in CX / CX more, throw the sock off the machine, ripple these final extra rows to handknit a small 1:1 rib cuff.

The designs I use are by Kathleen Kinder, Barbara Walker, Susanna Lewis or original Decocards.

With contrast colors the patterns are very clear.
