Every year I make my mom a pair of socks for Christmas —she picks the yarn and I choose the pattern. She chose this gorgeous Manos del Uruguay Alegría for her 2015 socks at Southern California Handweavers’ Guild annual Weaving and Fiber Festival.

This yarn is so soft and luxurious, and I love this colorway.

Doing a fleegle heel instead of the short-row heel.
