10/14 finished. blocking.
9/30 Going to pick out buttons today-- only 1 1/3 sleeve & the button bands to knit! This is not a quick knit, but I think I’m going to be in love with this cadigan. :) Hope to finished & blocking by next week some time.

9/9 Split for sleeves finally today. Not a fast pattern. One thing to keep in mind if you’re going to knit this pattern is that it is mostly purling. It looks like garter stitch, but is purling on both the rs & ws. I didn’t realize this until I’d already committed to it.

8/28 Refreshed my memory on how to cable without a needle for this one-- I would go nuts if I had to deal with that annoyance through the whole sweater.

8/27 Gauge is ever so slightly looser than called for, which is good, since I fall between the 36 1/2” and the next up, 39”. Will knit the smaller size, as I want this fitted anyway. will start ribbing at elbows to avoid that blousey look.

OMG! I remember looking at this pattern & thinking I could never be this good-- now it looks easy!
