Finished! Cast on to blocking in 11 days. :D Will post pics when dry & elastic is in. Tried it on last night & it looks to fit perfectly!

15” of 23” done. This is the boring part! Switched to size 7’s at this point, as gauge was just slightly large-- width measuring 41” instead of 40”.

Knit a hasty gauge swatch & cast on using recommended needle size. Figure I can always pull it out & start over if need be. I don’t suppose the gauge on the bottom section is all that crucial anyway. Excited to be casting on something for me again! :)
