Notes

March 26 I finished the first one, and I love it! After finishing the second mitt, I’ll work as hard as I can to write up and publish the pattern.

April 1 Poll is up… Please vote here!

April 9 Finished! I’ve decided to submit the pattern to Knit Picks, so I’ll probably be reknitting this in a Knit Picks yarn sometime soon. I’ve decided to call these Viridescent, which is a rare word meaning green.

April 17 I got in third place in the March Challenge! Thanks to everyone who voted for me!

July 9 I’m at hard work on the pattern. This is the most complex pattern I’ve every written (although that isn’t saying much :) It involves multiple charts, pages of written instructions, and several sizes… not a job for the faint hearted!

July 20 Finished the pattern! Now I just have to edit it, knit up a sample, and send it out to test knitters. This is my first real challenging pattern, and it was pretty intense, but I’m convinced that the work will be worth it in the end.
