Pictures at eight months and at two months. The sleeves are getting a little short, but the sweater’s probably going to fit through at least this fall. Considering unpicking the bottoms of the sleeves and adding another couple of lace repeats. I do have sufficient leftovers to pull this off.

The madtosh candlewick colorway is lovely, and the FBS was a pleasure to knit. I’m sure this is not the last time I go back to this pattern. I have enough yarn left for a matching hat, which I’m planning to do in the same gull stitch with a garter band.

I have to knit one of these for my baby girl to be. Though I still have the first one I knit, it’s so tiny. I want one that will last her just a bit longer.
