Zuko (my boyfriend’s dog) got into my project bag and murdered all five yarn cakes.

It took me until the evening to finish winding (and a trip to a beer garden and the enlistment of my boyfriend to finish untangling the last yarn cake) to get everything back into a semblance of order.

No breaks in the yarn, but they were definitely tangled to here and back.

Cast on was a bit tight so I frogged and started over. Second attempt was a success.

Day 1 progress = cuff + three stripes

06-05-2021

Finished one sock. Ended on Row 9 of last stripe before toe.

06-10-2021

Both socks complete and now soaking.

Final Yardage measurements:

Cuff: 3g
Stripes: 2g
Heel: 2g
Toe: 2 g

One sock with 12 stripes + cuff and toe = 29 grams (sock is 7” circumference and 9.25” in length)
