With fur yarn, its partly freeform…I can barely see the stitches and I don’t really have a definite count. I just look and feel if its right.

(Bottom pic) I was making this first, but I changed my mind and started again this time, with fur yarn.
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn Dk brown, and beige
3.5mm (6/0) hook
Fuzzy wires, 3 pcs. cut into 5” each
Polyester fiberfill
2 Black beads
Yarn needle

Body
Working from bottom-up, do not join rnds, work in a spiral
Rnd 1: start with a magic ring, 6 sc in ring
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc (12 sc)
Rnd 3: (sc in sc, 2sc in sc) repeat around (18 sc)
Rnd 4-5: sc in each sc (18 sc)
Rnd 6: 9 sc (neck)
