I’m so excited to be finally casting on for this project. I purchased the yarn when I travelled to Reykjavik in February.

I loved making this sweater. I had a few issues - I started making both sleeves at the same time via magic loop but realized that my stocking stitch tension was very different in the sleeves than in the body. Had to start them over. Then when I started the yoke, I mis-read the chart and had to re-start the yoke. THEN, the biggest boob of all, I put one of the sleeves on wrong - the increase line was on the outside instead of the inside. Don’t ask me how I managed that. I must have been watching TV when I put the sleeves on. By the time I noticed this though, I was finished the entire sweater. SO, I cut the sleeve off and now I have to find the motivation to graft it back on.

Found the motivation. THEN, I was about 35 into my 50 stitches of grafting, my yarn breaks! As if. But I got it all done and you can’t even tell.

Can’t wait to wear this puppy!
