  • Work chart (47r/7.5rpi = 6.3”) + 1” ribbing=7.3”
  • Work st-st to UA = 11” - 7.3” = 3.75” x 7.5rpi = 30r
  • Ended up working 34r to UA
  • 43r to 5.75” armhole, shape per pattern and short rows
  • German Short Rows used
  • When picking up for the sleeves: pick up per pattern, next row kfb every stitch to double the stitch count. Using a tapestry needle, move every other stitch (the purl stitch created by the kfb) to waste yarn.
  • Work sleeve as per pattern. After last row of cc, weave in ends then put held stitches on second needle, Kitchener stitch the held stitches to the live stitches
  • This creates a seamless, stretchy join for the sleeve!
