Notes

I love the ingenious construction of Rio Calina but wanted a modern geometric look. Besides, “spontaneity” is so hard to achieve.

The original Reversible Rivulet Scarf creates gorgeous wave around the edges, but that’s not what we want for Rio Calina since the edges are sewn. 4 stitches are added on both sides to keep them straight.

CO 64
Cable Row 1: p1 tbl, k1 tbl 2 times, Rcc, (p1 tbl, k1 tbl) 4 times 3 times, rcc, p1 tbl, k1 tbl 2 times
Cable Row 2: P1 tbl, k1 tbl 6 times, rcc, (p1 tbl, k1 tbl) 4 times 2 times, p1 tbl, k1 tbl 2 times

Note: Tubular CO is done on the back loop to give a consistent look. In order to match the CO, bind-off is done on the back loop as well which is really confusing to do with Kitchener. Twist all live stitches so the back loop comes in front before starting the bind-off and do Kitchener as usual.
