Kind of impractical in the yarn choice and fussier than a sleep deprived toddler for the first few rows, but the flutter and frill of the end result is too irresistible.

I’ve never used Grignasco yarn but would rate it the same as Rowan Kidsilk Haze. Nice but not as nice as the Cadillac of kidsilks, Shibui’s Silk Cloud ::cue celestial choir:: Really what lured me in was the orange-slice candy hue.

As for the pattern, it’s quick, simple, pretty, and makes an impact. Can’t ask for more than that, especially for gift knitting.
