Notes

Finally took pictures! This might be my favorite project and I can’t say enough good things about the yarn. In the end I really like the effects of the different dye lots.

Jan. 5: Started on a whim using the leftover Matisse from Andrea’s Shawl and another skein of Lady Macbeth in a different dye lot for back up. Reserving judgement on whether this was a Good Idea till it gets blocked since the dye lots are really different.

Used a double overhand knot on size 2 for CO, did 1 to 11 increase, switched to size 6 and knit one row before starting pattern.

Jan. 13: Worked the star chart 4 times, blossom chart 3 times. Began color change after first row of edging chart 1.

Used the yarn double for the cast off as I had to use the second skein of Lady Macbeth to finish the edge charts.

Don’t particularly care for the center stitch and wish I’d eliminated it. Or perhaps not knit tbl since something about it made my tension wonky.

Knit up quickly, loved the star and blossom sections, not so keen on the edging.
