I liked the clean look of this pattern to show off the color shift. Quite curious to see how this would work with Alhemy haiku or kidsilk.

Took some pictures before blocking because I have a soft spot for the rumpled look.

Jan 23: Dark to light, alternating every other row with the two skeins. Working a yo between the 2 edge stitches on RS and dropping them on WS to keep the edges loose.

Feb 5: 7 repeats of the eyelet section since it’s not looking like there’ll be enough yarn. Switched to size 8 needles for the garter edge border.

Feb 6: Skipped the Ktbl right side row after the final eyelets because it was looking bulky with the sport weight (really seems more like a light worsted). BO with size 9 on the right side purlwise, using Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off.

Yarn was pulling apart when I was sewing in the ends and after blocking the edge looked a bit raggedy (last picture). Yikes! Ok, not falling for the pretty colors in single ply yarn again. I mean it this time!
