When Winwick Mum shared the details of her latest sock design and KAL I knew that it was the perfect match for the lightly speckled yarn from Dusty Dimples.

The cables and speckles remind me of a wavy fairground slide!

I modified the pattern to work a short row heel, carrying the cable pattern over the heel flap (cables are quite dense so hardwearing enough for a heel) I also kept the cable pattern going to the end of the toes.
