2015: I finally knit my second Bainbridge!! I used a 5mm needle and Red Heart Soft worsted for this blue Bainbridge and it came out a lot bigger than my first edition.

Final size is 6” x 42” / 15cm x 1.06 m

It’s wide enough to double-wrap around my neck or wear it folded in front with a pin - and like the last one, if I get overheated, I can leave it open to drape around my neck. I really enjoyed working this on my 26” circular (not used for over 5 years). The pattern is a nice repetitive knit and easy to memorize. I see another Bainbridge in my knitting future!

2008:
This is my new favourite scarf! I love how it cuddles my neck, but if I get too warm, I just open it and let it drape around my neck. I left off the ties and just use a pin with one of my stitch markers for decoration; I fold the scarf and pin through all layers. I also knit a 5” height instead of 4” and it snuggles around my neck like a warm blankie. I’m making more of these.
