November 7, 2016 Went fairly quickly and it’s super cute! I used stuffing to fill it out rather than sewing it around an old Christmas ball ornament, which means I didn’t have to eliminate any rounds, as the pattern suggests for heavier weight yarns.

Not sure I love the colours together. When I picked them out, I was thinking Christmas colours, but I’m afraid they look a little too Italian or Mexican flag-ish than Christmas-y.

November 9, 2016, from a LiveJournal Post Last night, while working on my second Christmas Bauble, I successfully joined my two halves together using the Kitchener stitch. On crochet! I grafted two crochet pieces together, you guys!!! And it looks GOOD! I was surprised and impressed with myself, which also doesn’t happen often.

November 11 The colours look less Mexican/Italian flag-ish in the light of day, so that’s a relief. Members of the Santa Monica SnB also assured me that it would probably look more Christmas-y on an actual tree. I’ll probably make more of these this season - they’re just so cute!

I’m still amazed I was able to graft together two crochet pieces!
