November 30, 2016 I didn’t read the instructions for the Balls Up ! pattern thoroughly enough and I accidentally made the increases using the Arne and Carlos pattern on the first one. I did it properly for the second one and I think I like the spiral look of the Balls Up ! pattern better than the Arne and Carlos “square” look. I may try this this increasing method for my next Arne and Carlos ball that I make and see how that goes.

I have to remember to loosen up a bit when doing stranded work because some of the colorwork stitches pull a little too tightly. I adjusted for the second one, which is why it came out a little larger. Still, this yarn and these needles make for some stunning stitch definition, so both balls came out looking beautiful!
