Making a Doom Shroom from plants vs Zombies ^.^ cap is a dark gray in sport weight, stem is medium grey yarn I got from a thrift store stash. Used a glass stone in the bottom of the stem as a weight to keep it upright.

Used Rnds 1-9 of this pattern to create the cap: http://cthulhucrochet.blogspot.com/2008/05/tiny-cthulhu-f... : then did another round of SCs in back loops only, and reversed the pattern. created the stem myself (cuz that’s so hard :P )

Finally got pics up!

Eyes are made from red felt, eye furrows are embroidered with the same yarn that the cap is made of, and mouth is sewn with embroidery thread. The red vein you see are bits of fiber from red yarn glued to the body.
