12/19/2016. This is working up nicely. Did not do Kitchener stitch to join hatband. Instead did 3-needle bind off which finished the join nicely.
Very cute and cozy hat. Would make this pattern again. Used slightly over 1 ball of yarn for Slouchy hat style.
