Row 2: Esc into 1st st, #ch 1, Esc, ch 1, esc into each ch 3 sp, sk sc#, rep from # to # across row, 2 esc into last st, ch 2, turn.
Row 3 : 2 esc into 1st st, #ch 1, Esc blo in esc, ch 1, sk ch1 #, rep from # to # across row, 2 esc into last st, ch 2, turn.
Row 4: dc, sk 1 st, ch 1, rep across row, ch 2, turn
Row 5: sc in each st across
Row 6: dc, sk 1 st, ch 1, rep across row, ch 2, turn
Rows 7 - 9: the last 3 rows of the Celestial edging
Jan. 1 - just starting skein 3. It’s 162 cm. or 64” wide and 50 cm. 19.5” deep (unblocked). 70 increase rows.
Did 5 rows even with no decreases. Started decreasing at row 76. (total will be 145 rows).
Finished Skein 3 on row 85. Now on row 92.
Jan. 2 - started skein 5 on row 110. finished body of the shawl (145 rows) with 22 gm. of skein 5 left.
Swatching to find a more elaborate border - with 122 gm. of yarn left.
Jan. 3 - on Row 3 of border.
Jan. 4 - starting skein 7 on Row 6 of border - 50 gm. left
Starting Row 7 of the border with 47 gm.
Starting row 8 with 26 gm.
Half through Row 8 with 19 gm.
Jan. 5 - Starting Row 9 with 13 gm. - likely will have enough yarn!
NOOOOOO - ran out of yarn with 28” of the border (15 points) to go. Ripped back 3 rows to make the border less full.
Jan. 6 - started Row 7 again, more spaced out.
Jan. 7 or 8? finished all 9 rows of border.
Jan. 10 - sewed in ends. Soaked and now blocking.
