Notes

Limestone and turquoise water! Modified to be more triangular and less kite-shaped at the top edge. See my CHART & photo BLOCKING DEMO step-by-step.

Gifted May 3/14 to my SIL, who loves Indian Head Cove on the Bruce Peninsula.

Mods: start with 8 ch,
Row 1; add 1dc between each edge & centre
Centre: 2 dc, 1ch, 2dc (instead of 2tc, 1ch, 2tc)
subsequent rows: 3dc in first & last stitch of each row (3 turning ch every time counts as 1dc). Then begin PATTERN in the opposite stitch of the row below. Add 1 ch before/after the edge dc if the next stitch is sc.
Opposite stitches: sc is opposite of tc; hdc is opposite of dc.

after about the first 10 rows, Centre: 2hdc, 1ch, 2hdc (instead of 2tc, 1ch, 2tc)
