By entering my stash into the Rvelry stash on 8th March, I detected two yarns I originally purchased for knitting scarfs, which would perfectly match to a Lanesplitter.

But, as I often do, I did some modifications at the pattern.

• First I do not want a vertical seam, so I did it the way Prelu did it with her Lanesplitter: I calculated the needed stitches for the length of the skirt (length: 50 cm, diagonal length: a² + b² = c² -> about 70 cm -> needed stitches 112).
• For preventing the cutting of yarn at each change of color and the weaving-in of thousands of ends I did a little change on the pattern: At the color-changing border I work each border-stitch with both yarns. The border becomes stronger that way, but I think this is even better for the lower skirt border. At least I hope so.

Cast on 110 stitches, worked four rows.
9th March 2013:
Now project measures about 17 cm.
13th March 2013:
Now project measures about 66 cm.
15th March 2013:
Finished project!
The project measured about 110 cm when desided to finish.

Just added a photo describing how to sew the seam of the skirt so it will not be visible from right side. I hope it is helpful.
