I found a child’s cabled sweater in a thrift store. The cuffs, neck and waist had been cast on too tight. The whole sweater was fairly tightly knit and made a solid fabric.
I thought it would make a cute knit pillow. I cut off the sleeves and sewed around three sides, using the pattern of the knitting as my guide. I then cut off the collar and sewed the last side, leaving a hole for stuffing. I filled the pillow form with batting and hand-stitched the opening closed with embroidery floss.
Easy! Peasy! I love it!
