Knit three rounds plain so toe is approx 2”

Now start instep pattern.

1-7-24 The sock is kinda stiff, and it looks like the yarn will run out. Used 40% of it and not even up to the heel.

Will unravel and start again on 2s

front instep pattern k2, p1, k1, p1, k1, p1, k across to last 7 sts, p1, k1, p1, k1, p1, k2

Made a gauge swatch, 3, 2 & 1.5 - looking for between 7.5 - 9 sts per inch. NOTE: after knitting te actual sock ,my gauge on 1.5 is 8 - stiff thick fabric.

1.5 gives 7.25 sts per inch, 2 is 7 and us 3 is 6.

The Must Stash yarn is skinnier than other sport I have. it is 22 wpi - more like fingering.

The arroryo seems thicker, different. 7 sts per inch on 1.5. Decided to not use it. Going up a needle.size would be too complicated.

Toe up magic loop cast on 16, increased until 60 sts. Increased until 3 5/8 “, toe length is 2” - a little short.
