Knitting a lace cardigan for my mothers birthday.
It is heavily inspired by Pinneguri´s children´s cardigan Eivor, but I wanted the pattern on the front to be airy and light and covered in holes in a simple lace pattern.

Knit top-down without pattern - first time for me, so I had to tink back here and there.

It weighs a total of 175 grams with buttons.

Notes to remember for next time:

• need additional stitches on each side of the button band (k1, p2)

• start out with at least 10 stitches more on the front

• decide on buttons before knitting the button bands…
