6/17/2017 Took the tank off the needles so I could do a fit check. Looks good so far, just need to knit about 3 more inches before I start decreasing for my waist section.

“Basically for the Summer Tank I followed the directions exactly from the beginning. I had a stitch markers marking each side (below the armpit) and at 6” below the armpit (or at the point where your torso decreases toward your wast) I began decreasing as such:
decrease round: Using one of your side markers as your beginning: k1, k2tog, k to 3sts before next marker, ssk, k1, sm, k1, k2tog, k to 3sts before next marker, ssk, k1
next 1-4 rndns: knit
repeat these 5 rnds once more (8sts decreased)
increase round: k1, m1, k to 1 sts before marker, m1, k1, sm, k1, m1, k to 1 sts before marker, m1, k1
next 1-4 rnds: knit
repeat these 5 rnds once more (8sts increased)
That’s it! Continue knitting straight until desired length.“
