I’m using a self-striping XL sock yarn (150 g ball), the tag for which I seem to have lost…but it is meant for nice, thick boot socks.

EDITED: the foot of this sock was coming out FAR too large (wide), so I decided to rip back and make these into legwarmers -- for which this yarn-pattern combo is very well suited.

Still using 2.5 mm needles, as called for in the pattern. I typically knit my regular-weight socks on 2 mm or less.

I would like to make a more dainty version of this pattern soon (as SOCKS rather than legwarmers!)
