Making this for my son for the holidays…he will be here around Christmas, so I am definitely under a little time pressure. Started with a pattern called “Adam,” but I started to have second thoughts -- and wasn’t liking this yarn knit up on 3.5mm needles (just too dense), so I decided to make a fresh start of it!

Note: bargain basement purchase has left me with 3 different dye lots:

3590 x 1 ball

2974 x 5 balls

2662 x 5 balls

This pattern has false seams, which are handy for my skein alternation needs :)

The bottom ribbing was curling up, so I picked up along the cast on edge and knit a contrast hem binding (on 3 mm needles). Also knit the visible zipper binding in contrast -- a grey-and-black marled cashmere blen d(fingering weight) from a CM scrap pack
