I improvised within the basic framework of this pattern quite a bit, including going down a needle size and lengthening the body and the sleeves -- but also slimming the width of the sweater somewhat and then improvising the yoke decreases to make a neckline that would stay on Little One’s shoulders.

The yarn is lovely, a dark navy with cobalt flecks.
