playing around with CM black cashmere and a grey lace weight from a Colourmart scrap pack…I suspect it is a silk-cashmere blend

this project had to go on hold while I worked on 2 holiday gifts (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/motherbunch/portage and http://www.ravelry.com/projects/motherbunch/fantomas) -- but I have managed to get the lovely lace border done now, and I love it!

the slip stitch pattern in grey and black creates a lovely houndstooth-like effect, and a cushy texture :)
